February 1940	Founded at 3-30 Zoshigaya, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, by Haruo Namura.
January 1948	Namura Taiseido Limited founded. Haruo Namura appointed representative director.
July 1950	Head Office and manufacturing plant moved to new premises at 2-499 (now 2-8-18), Zoshigaya, Toshima-ku, Tokyo.
April 1955	Name changed to Namura Taiseido Co., Ltd. with change in corporate organization.
April 1963	Started wholesale sales of art supplies.
December 1988	New three-story reinforced concrete manufacturing plant built at 2-28-1 Zoshigaya, Toshima-ku, Tokyo.
January 1989	Ikuo Namura appointed representative director.
April 1990	New three-story reinforced concrete head office building constructed at 2-8-18 Zoshigaya, Toshima-ku, Tokyo.
September 1995	Meise Co., Ltd., active for twenty years as a Namura Taiseido subsidiary, is disbanded. The former Meise is absorbed into the company’s Special Sales Department in the Sales Division, where wholesale sales to design schools continue.
July 2003	Starts acting as sales and distribution agent for Art Color products.
March 2004	Opened Nagoya Office in Kita-ku, Nagoya.
February 2005	Contributed to the art supplies industry by serving as main organizer of the First Art Material Show (JAWA-SHOW).
March 2005	Opened Fukuoka Office in Sawara-ku, Fukuoka.
